teddy815
I heard the technology of LabVIEW VI Scripting two weeks ago. And I have interest in it very much. According to the tutorial, I added "SuperSecretPrivateSpecialStuff=True" to LabVIEW.ini and found some new Propertys and Invokes. Then I download some examples from the forums, and can run them normally. Some new Property and Invoke Nodes has been used in the examples. The problem is I can't find the Property and Invoke Nodes from the shorcut menus As the attachment has shown?? PS:How can I start with LabVIEW VI Scripting ??Any suggestion? Quote Link to comment

JDave
It sounds like he did peruse the readme. It doesn't talk about version problems. The solution is to go back to 7.1, then you will find everything available. Though there are some interesting workarounds if you look around LAVA a bit... David Quote Link to comment
Yair
As hinted, in LV 8.x NI put scripting behind the license engine, so you need a license to activate it, which you can't get at the moment. If you search this board, you should be able to find the PMS assistant or the Dataact property browser, which I believe should give you access to these properties and methods in 8.x. Sounds like this should be added to the readme. Quote Link to comment
