ZZZZZZ
Hi all, I am about to install LabVIEW 5.1.1, 6.1 and 7.1.1f2 on my PC. Previously I had NI-DAQ 6.11 installed with LV 5.1.1, but now I want the DAQ libraries installed with 6.1. But I will upgrade to a newer NI-DAQ, i.e. to the latest version which still supports the legacy AT-MIO-16X board. (LV 7.1 is not backward compatible with that NI-DAQ or board). As far as I remember, the last time I intalled all this software (first 5.1.1 with NI-DAQ, then LV 6.1 and then LV 7.1), the LV7 installation messed up my older NI-DAQ installation. I guess it was all deleted. In what order should I install the LV versions and how do I make LV 6.1 contain the NI-DAQ or avoid that LV7 mess up things? Thanx in advance Quote Link to comment
Ton Plomp
Hi ZZZZZ, yes you can install all these, first install LabVIEW from low to high, then read this it shows how to support daq from multiple LabVIEW versions. Ton Quote Link to comment
