alukindo Posted July 6, 2007 Report Posted July 6, 2007 Hi NI Engineers: Right now, clicking on a VI in LV project explorer only opens the VI's front panel. I think it would be great if <Ctl+Clicking> on the same VI in LV project explorer would open the block diagram of the VI if the front panel was already open. In many cases I run a VI after opening it in project explorer, later to find out that there is no way to access the block diagram unless I stop the VI first. The other wish list is that: clicking on a VI should open both the front panel and block diagram Anthony Quote
Ton Plomp Posted July 6, 2007 Report Posted July 6, 2007 QUOTE(alukindo @ Jul 5 2007, 08:45 AM) Hi NI Engineers:In many cases I run a VI after opening it in project explorer, later to find out that there is no way to access the block diagram unless I stop the VI first. Good idea, there is already some action to open both Frontpanel and blockdiagram of a SubVI, the same should be done here. Another trick is to search for some text that is present on the block diagram! Or build a tiny VI that opens the block diagram if <ctrl-e> is hit. :ninja: Ton Quote
