Labview on an ASUS Eee PC

Recommended Posts

I have not tried, but as Xandros is Debian based I would be trying to find a guide for installing LabVIEW on a Debian based Linux distribution such as Debian, Ubuntu, etc...

See: http://forums.lavag.org/What-flavor-of-Lin...use-t10130.html where Jim states that he has installed LabVIEW 8.0 and 8.2 on Ubuntu.

The following link provides step by step instructions for the installation:

It is beyond me why NI only officially support a few rarely used distributions (all being RPM based) and refuse to support the most popular distributions (some using RPM and others using DEB), perhaps they should follow VMware's lead and provide the package in a distribution independent format as well as a RPM file.

Just my opinion, Sorry if you already had this information.
