If so, I need some help, because it looks like the default installation script doesn't work with the Xandros OS. Any experience reports welcome. Quote Link to comment
Maca Posted July 20, 2008 Report Share Posted July 20, 2008 I have not tried, but as Xandros is Debian based I would be trying to find a guide for installing LabVIEW on a Debian based Linux distribution such as Debian, Ubuntu, etc... The following link provides step by step instructions for the installation: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=726092 It is beyond me why NI only officially support a few rarely used distributions (all being RPM based) and refuse to support the most popular distributions (some using RPM and others using DEB), perhaps they should follow VMware's lead and provide the package in a distribution independent format as well as a RPM file.
