Recommended Posts

Dear All,

I am in Need of a way to Edit the Function Palette Programatically .

There is an Option to Create mnu file in LV8.6 That to Create the mnu file But We need to Link it Manually. But for Other Version of LV I dont find any Method.

My Requirement is to Create Mnu file and Link it to the Function Pallete Programatically.

Thanks in Advance,

I'm not sure I'm clear on what you want to do, but won't the refresh palettes (application control > palette editing) method do what you need?

Indeed, it was private in LV 8.2

Try making a VI in 8.6 with it in there and save it as an 8.2 VI.

Yes that will work. Another option is to enable scripting and private methods / properties in LV 8.2, see scripting forum.
