Ctrl+dblclick while VI running

When you have the automatic tool selection enabled and a VI is running, how can you quickly see the diagram of a sub-vi? Pressing ctrl ket switches to break-point placement.

Hello Michael

If you just double click the sub Vi and then press ctr-e you will loose every time less than a half second before you see the sub VI's diagram...

Is this really to slow?

But maybe we find a scripting way...

why dont you hold the 'Control' key and double click on the subvi. (Control+double click) that will open up the subvi blockdiagram

Not while the VI is running it won't (as Michael said). While running, the ctrl+any click sets and clears breakpoints.

Sorry, Michael ... I don't think there's any shortcut like the one you're looking for.
