LabPython only supports python modules that are threadsafe (this is because LabVIEW is multi-threaded, but Python has places where it isn't (related to the global interpreter lock). Unfortunately numpy and scipy are not thread safe, so it's easy to trip over this and crash LbaVIEW. Newer versions of Anaconda also seem to have problems with LabPython (Anaconda 2.3 onwards I think), but vanilla Python from www.python.org seems ok.1 point
