  1. pawhan11, To reduce the changes to your source from recompiling- go to the VI properties General category and check: Separate compiled code from source file When this flag is set LabVIEW saves the compiled code in a separate location called the Compiled Object Cache. The Compiled Object Cache will not be part of your source code repository so a compile will not lead to a change to your repository. -Rick Franics

  2. Just a little clarification. The Averna NotifyIcon is surely inspired by the same NI example found on ni.com but it is not a rebranded/repackaged version of the Stinus Olsen library posted on LAVA. I've made the Averna implementation as an internal reuse library a long time ago. It was posted few years later on the LV Tool Network.
