  1. I gave you one, you big baby. (Hopefully members will give me votes for this post too )
  2. In case you only want to get a t-shirt, here's another coupon code: $5.00 off your next purchase of $20.00 or more: EPLRAEWUQNAPVQBTHJJQ (code code expires on 17th of August, 2009).
  3. Oh - OK - I thought you'd chimed in due to other reasons that hadn't already been mentioned. I'm the same as far as a state machine goes - I turn it off when I'm working on those.
  4. I just got this coupon code from zazzle.com: $10.00 off orders of $50.00 or more: ENYEDBVTBAQXZHLQYQYU (code expires on 25th of July, 2009). Why don'tcha go buy yourself somethin' purdy at the LAVA Store?
  5. Nice!
  6. Can you elaborate? My thoughts exactly.
  7. Lookin' good!
  8. That depends on what you mean by "database" The lvproj file is an XML text file - change the extension to ".xml" (or even ".txt"), open it, and you'll see all the XML tags and thier values.
  9. Only if that information didn't already exist in the project explorer (say, what the status was at last save).
  10. I think what Bjarne is after is something that will allow him to plug a USB device into the RS-232 port on his PC, not the other way around.
  11. I will
  12. Sounds complex. Is there a reason you're spending what looks to be significant time to design, develop and maintain all this yourself, instead of using TestStand?
  13. I like the new version in the banner (see below), but I think it'd be better with the red and blue wires coming out the bottom.
  14. So you're ready for it to be assessed? Speaking ofgreat logos - have you seen the vugie-designed products in the LAVAStore? They look great!
  15. Like you're checking if the password input by the user equals a constant in your code? You can use the "add" primative - it's polymorphic (which means it can adapt to different datatypes, including strings).
  16. A big thanks to Ben Zimmer from Enable Training and Consulting, Inc for offering up a LAVA/OpenG NI-Week 2009 BBQ door prize: WD TV HD 1080P Media Player From their website: Bonus prize: the lucky winner will also receive a USB memory stick containing all of the LabVIEW TipJar Video Blogs, so they can watch them in all the glory of your largest TV*!!! (*TV not included)
  17. Another great reason to thoughtfully title your threads.
  18. What is this?!? Beat up on crelf week?!? Not that I don't like it I replied with my thoughts to a similar question here. Please go over there and vote that reply up.
  19. It does - the shop forces us to set a comission on all sales, and the minimum we can set is 10%. We use the proceeds (usually only a few tens of dollars) to buy NI-Week LAVA/OpenG BBQ door prizes (a mousepad or two and some stickers).
  20. I hadn't heard of registration for individual sessions either. Are you sure that wasn't a system for just managing your own schedule?
  21. You don't like that when you wire an error cluster into a case selector you get red on the error case and green on the no error case? I love that!
  22. "quese -aristos" <- looks like a great username!
  23. To be clear, it wasn't just about the Disney™ characters, the Zazzle guy I spoke mentioned several infringements.
  24. ...and we've missed you! Didn't you have a avatar with the rockin' hand of God coming out of the clouds? Or is that someone esle I'm thinking of...
