  1. 15. FIFTEEN. That's the number of current job postings in my group. We're hiring! This is the most fulfilling, challenging, and rewarding position I've held. Job specific requirements listed on the website. https://www.lockheedmartinjobs.com/search-jobs/Test%20Engineer/Grand%20Prairie%2C%20TX/694/1/4/6252001-4736286-4684904-4694482/32x74596/-96x99778/15/2

  3. Thanks!!! This solution should work great! I still don't like the way 8.5 handles this situation. I have been working on making my exe run without installing the runtime engine with much success. I have 30MB of files versus the 80MB that come with the installer. Now I may be able to run my own installer versus NIs... I just have to look into the licensing issues if I don't us NI's installer.
  4. I have an application that requires .NET 2.0, I am using the NotifyIcon functionality. IF .NET is not installed: LabVIEW 8.2.1 built apps would error out descriptively saying .NET couldn't be found. LabVIEW 8.5 displays a broken error and tells you something about needing the LabVIEW developement system to fix the problem. I need to include, or require as a prerequisite, the installation of the .NET 2.0 framework INSIDE my installer. The only additional installers NI offers are for NI products... Any ideas?? Dual Posted to NI forums... no response there after about 4 hours.
  5. I hate to ask the obvious, but what are your PC Specs. You may just be maxing out your processor and/or your bandwidth to you hard drive. What kind of CPU Usage do you see in Task Manager when running this application? What about Physical Memory? Probably a screenshot of this data during a VI Run would get us enough information to illiminate this as a possible snag. EDIT. I just re-read your post... 15%... still would like to know what your Memory is like.
  6. WOW. This used to work, or may still work with some of the installers. I have always copied the CD Directly to my HDD... haven't included additional installers in a while... this is bad... real bad. I actually just started a thread on forums.ni.com about updating Dev Suite...
