  1. QUOTE (Michael_Aivaliotis @ Oct 13 2007, 05:31 PM) I guess I am a lurker. I pop in every once in a while when I have something I would like to get some opinions on. Now I am peeping around trying to find out what out there for h.264 tools. ??
  2. QUOTE(Yen @ Feb 24 2008, 02:49 PM) I disagree. Example Formula nodes have no "Intellisense". And they are very handy. The WORST part of Labview is dealing with strings. It's time they did something about it.

  4. QUOTE(tcplomp @ Feb 21 2008, 10:38 AM) True, but if you can use a local variable, why can't you just put that local variable name in brackets in a text format? I think it would be much easyier. I understand the dataflow issue. But we do have local variables, which negates the dataflow paradigm anyway.
  5. QUOTE(crelf @ Oct 12 2003, 06:15 PM) Crelf, I am missing a sub vi "Parse Filename Extension (Polymorphic).vi". to run this main vi "Displaying_and_image_from_a_web_page.vi. Also, do you think something simular to this would work to grab from a network stream like VLC Media Player? http://www.videolan.org/
  6. QUOTE(tcplomp @ Feb 21 2008, 01:21 AM) That was just a small example of how much realestate strings take up. expecailly if you have to use local variables like I do. Then you have something like "Raw Image From Target 101". Several Local variables of that size take up to much realestate. I usually have a lot string variables that I have to deal with.

  9. Has anybody been able to capture UDP Multicast Video Off the web or from some other machine on a local network? I need to capture UDP Multicast MPEG2 and or MPEG4 video from a Unmaned Areial Vehicle over ethernet downlink. Would it be that hard to decipher the IP packets? Any Ideas? Any Active X tools out there?
