suggest some book

Recommended Posts

Hi

please anybody tell me some e-book for learning LabView as I'm new to Labview and I also dont have idea of Object oriented.

I've to make some application using labview

thanks

LabVIEW has great HELP documentation on LVOOP that ships with it.

That would be my first stop for electronic info.

Along with the white papers in NI's KB. Just do a search on their website.

It sounded like you are new to the entire process of using LabVIEW.

If this is true, I would highly recommend looking into the NI courses that are offered.

Above and beyond the courses offered by NI, LabVIEW for everyone is a great book that covers a TON of topics from beginner to advanced (although I' not sure how much OO it covers)

But once you get past just the basics the I would recommend reading some beginner OO books that might not even be LV oriented. AristosQueue has a slew of recommendations on those.

There is an appendix at the back on OOP which walks through FGV then GOOP.

It is a great introduction to the concept of OOP in LabVIEW and well worth reading.

There is no LVOOP in the edition I have tho.

There aren't many LabVIEW specific OO books. However, if you want to learn and use OO (GOOP) with LabVIEW I highly recommend getting some basic books on OO in general. The classic gang of 4 book on OO design patterns is very useful but it is better if you understand the basics of OO before diving into that book.
