interfacing mouse

hi//.....am new to LabVIEW and this website.....

i would like to know whether there is any means to detect the motion of mouse and do tasks accordingly....

for example:

if am moving mouse upwards some tasks like speeding of motor has to be done...

if am moving mouse downwards motor speed has to be reduced....

the example is not the thing i exactly want....

plz...sugeest me....

And here's the events version (stealing JCarmodys boolean logic wink.gif).

The advantage of Jcarmdys is that it works anywhere on the screen whereas the events version only works on the FP of the VI that has the code. The events versions only advantage is that it is a little more efficient in terms of CPU.
