Thanks Ravi 4496[/snapback] Just as Michael said, if it is an USB memory stick Windows will already install a default driver for it to make it appear as an additional drive. VISA can only access USB devices for which no other driver has been installed yet. If any other driver claims a device already, VISA backs off and rightly so, as accessing hardware from two different drivers at the same time is looking for big trouble.
