Access Usb device using VISA

Recommended Posts

Hi ,

I am trying to access my usb memory device Using the VISA. but facing some problems. does anybody have tried this before. if yes, can anybody help me out with this.

Just as Michael said, if it is an USB memory stick Windows will already install a default driver for it to make it appear as an additional drive. VISA can only access USB devices for which no other driver has been installed yet. If any other driver claims a device already, VISA backs off and rightly so, as accessing hardware from two different drivers at the same time is looking for big trouble.
