resetting CRIO password

I am trying to reset a Crio 9074  following this procedure

However, even in safe mode i cant get by the password. The document says to simply click on. The OK button on mine is greyed out. NI  MAX is showing the controller is in safe mode

Anyone have any suggestions?

We generally don't close threads on LAVA, even things like this can be useful to others...assuming you have a solution that is worth sharing so someone in a similar situation can find what you did.

The procedure would not work with the CRIO just in SAFE mode

For some interesting reason i could only format the machine if it was not only in safe mode but also IP RESET mode

Just incase someone else has the same issue.
