The Q Posted October 5, 2020 Report Posted October 5, 2020 Has anyone used the Python Nodes on Raspberry Pi? I can't seem to get them to work. I have been calling python scripts using the command line but would like to call it with the nodes if possible. Quote
The Q Posted October 5, 2020 Author Report Posted October 5, 2020 I probably answered my own question. I don't think it is supported on the Raspberry Pi. It crashes the instance of LabVIEW running on the Pi and then LabVIEW looses connection with it. The only way to get it to reconnect is to reboot the Pi. Quote
JKSH Posted October 5, 2020 Report Posted October 5, 2020 I believe the Python Nodes only work on Windows targets: https://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW-Real-Time-Idea-Exchange/Python-Node-support-on-LabVIEW-Realtime-systems/idi-p/3904897?profile.language=en Quote
Jordan Kuehn Posted October 5, 2020 Report Posted October 5, 2020 I have tried and experienced similar results. I have been able to accomplish simple tasks by calling python from the System Exec.vi with the appropriate parameters and such. It's slow, but is ok for some things. It did require using the Chroot/SSH "Trick". Quote
