The Olympiad will be online. Anybody from any country can join the competition. Official communication languages are English and Russian

A team size from 1 to 3 members and registration is available until deadline for solutions. Use the following topic to register:

The task will be published on April 12 2021 on the website labviewportal.org, and teams will have 2 weeks for experiments and create their solutions.

Competitions will be held in one stage. To determine the winners we will use a modified Swiss system (details will be in the Competition rules).

We tried to make the task more algorithmic, so we hope to see programmers from all areas among the participants.
So, welcome!

By agreement with the certification committee, this event is subject to the rule
************************
The following certification points may be awarded to existing Certified LabVIEW Developers and Certified LabVIEW Architects to be applied toward their recertification (by points).
5 points for participating in the coding challenge. To be eligible for these must complete the coding challenge but do not need to win or place for an award.
5 additional points if partisipants also place for an award in the challenge.

Best regards from the organizing committee of the LabVIEW Portal 2021 Olympiad

This sounds nice, thank you for organising it! I think the points reward for participating needs to be higher though as currently you can get 5 points for attending a user group. I would expect to actually get a working solution would be quite a bit of time.

Hi, Nail.

I agree that for the Olympiad you need more than 3 hours, but "5 points" - is not an our decision. We asked the certification commission about partnership and they offered this variant.

Tomorrow, May 1, 2021 at 10:00 am (UTC) or 13:00 (Moscow time), the start of the competition will take place.
The number of participants is three, so the competition will be held in 5 rounds, on five different fields.
There will be three players on the field. Each round will feature three changeover games. That is, there will be 15 games in total.
We will do our best to organize online video broadcasting of all games.
