daal Posted January 30, 2006 Report Posted January 30, 2006 Look at : http://sine.ni.com/nilg/jsp/customer_activate_initial.jsp You can activate LV 8.1. Does any body have it? Quote
Yair Posted January 30, 2006 Report Posted January 30, 2006 Does any body have it? I can tell you... but then I'd have to kill you. :ninja: Quote
Mike Ashe Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 We could tell you, but only if you can prove your brain is password protected ... Quote
clbst47 Posted February 2, 2006 Report Posted February 2, 2006 If anyone knows about the timing of an 8.1 release, please give us a hint. I have found LV 8.0 to be extremely buggy, and am in the midst of tweaking/hacking all my projects to get around the numerous bugs. Perhaps I won't have to fix quite so much after 8.1 comes out. What's the projected timetable? Quote

What's the projected timetable? That screenshot seems to have been from a temporary glitch in the NI force protection grid. 8.1's not in the options anymore. From a fairly reliable source: 8.0.1 is scheduled for Q3 2006. That's as good as I have right now. Joe (orko) Quote

Joe (orko) I know this is strange but yesterday I was activating some LV8.0 toolkits and when I submitted them by email I was sent activation codes for LabView Professional Development System 8.1 and Signal Express 2.0 as well as the ones I requested. I called NI and asked if they were available (in the mail?) and I was told no. Quote
Grampa_of_Oliva_n_Eden Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 ... LabView Professional Development System 8.1... My confirmation e-mail for all of my LV 8 installs so far have included that reference to LV 8.1. That includes the one I registered BEFORE LV 8.0 was released! Ben Quote
Wolfram Posted July 7, 2006 Report Posted July 7, 2006 I heard about a new LabVIEW Version 8.20 (20 years of existing LabVIEW). Probably coming out at this year's NI Week. Quote
