deirdre Posted August 16, 2007 Report Posted August 16, 2007 Hey, LAVA Community! It was great to meet many of you at NIWeek 2007. I feel privileged to sport Jim's VI Package Manager band around the office. Don't be strangers – you can find me on LabVIEW Zone, MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, Squidoo, and most other G-eeky social networking sites. I look forward to chatting with you guys on here too! Just curious – has anyone tested out NI Labs yet? Let me know what you think. Happy Programming! Deirdre Walsh – LabVIEW Specialist Quote
orko Posted August 16, 2007 Report Posted August 16, 2007 Welcome, Deirdre! Sorry I couldn't make it out to NIWeek this year, but I'm greasing the skids with the boss to try for next year. I just found out about NI Labs last week, it looks promising! I'm checking out the "Generic Container Map", although I haven't played with it enough to be sure what application it would have for me personally. Especially since there isn't a way to use it inside a built executable (yet). Quote
jzoller Posted August 17, 2007 Report Posted August 17, 2007 Hi Deirdre, Played a bit with the Generic Container Maps. Interesting stuff (and I'll ask some questions when the NI board comes back for me), but... Big icons. Really, really big icons. Huge. Ginormous. ...You're getting paid off by Viewsonic to sell 36" LCD's, aren't you? :ninja: Joe Z. QUOTE(deirdre @ Aug 15 2007, 03:23 PM) Hey, LAVA Community! You are just wayyy to accessible. I find myself always fighting to figure out where to update my data at. I've decided to standardize on facebook, being the fastest and most flexible. Love the map container operations, but it doesn't install w/ 8.5 which is what I have at home so can't do too much playing. Any news on getting scripting in the labs? Quote
