Dan Bookwalter
I was just wondering how many people are in the SETI 'program' (http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/)? maybe if there is enough we could start a LAVA team (with Michael's permission).... Dan Quote Link to comment

crelf
QUOTE(Dan Bookwalter @ Sep 2 2007, 05:29 AM) I was just wondering how many people are in the SETI 'program'? BOINC isn't just for looking for aliens - you can "...use the idle time on your computer (Windows, Mac, or Linux) to cure diseases, study global warming, discover pulsars, and do many other types of scientific research." You can even support multiple projects simultaneously. So if you're not interested in little green men, but are interested in climate predication, microfluidics, and/or quantum monte carlo simulations, the check the project root and the project list out.
