professor_rumsdiegeige
Hi! I've got a problem to install Labview. Everytime I need to install Labview on a computer on which Visual Studio 2005 is already installed, the Labview Installer comes up "Installing Part 1 of 8" and hangs there for ever. Has anybody faced similar problems? Quote Link to comment
xtal
We use Visual Studio 2005 and never had problems installing any version of LabVIEW on any of our machines. What version of LV? What OS? Do you have a virus checker program also running? Quote Link to comment

Donald
You could try to remove your aborted installation(s) with the Microsoft Installer Cleanup Utility. Quote Link to comment
TobyD
QUOTE(Donald @ Mar 4 2008, 03:44 AM) You could try to remove your aborted installation(s) with the http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301' target="_blank">Microsoft Installer Cleanup Utility. I would give this a try too. Microsoft tries to scare you away from it - and it could potentialy cause other programs not to work - but I have had good luck with it the past. It will clean out any registry keys that may have been corrupted causing your install to fail. Quote Link to comment
