george seifert Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 How can I display something in the lower left window edge (like where NI displays the project name)? I've seen other applications do this so it must be possible, but I don't know where to start. If not there, could something be displayed on the toolbar or menubar? I'm thinking of displaying test progress there so it would need to be updated while the VI is running. George Quote
Phillip Brooks Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 Can you use a splitter bar? I think these were added in 8.0. You would set the lower pane to be a constant height and disable the vertical and horizontal scroll bars. http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/3687 Quote
