Frontpanel items

Hi,

I am just a beginner in labview and i saw some programmes frontpanels have items i can not find in the contols pallete (tanks, pipes, valves.....)

something like that:

please help me to find them.

Those are part of the LabVIEW DSC package, not part of LabVIEW itself.

As Aristos said, these specific controls are part of an add-on package, but you can change the appearance of existing LabVIEW controls as well;

* If you only need to change the looks of a control, use the control editor.

* If you need to change the behaviour, e.g. to use specific formatting depending on the value, use Xcontrols.

Adding to the above.

The one big plus of the DSC add-on is the colors of the controls can be set at run time. A control that has been customized looese this option.

But boy wouldn't it be nice to be able to set fancy vector graphics like this at run-time w/ our own custom images w/out having to do back flips through some previously mentioned hoops.
