digsey Posted November 8, 2008 Report Share Posted November 8, 2008 Hi! I am new to Labview (v.8.5). I have to create a program to control a HP8110A pulse generator with a GPIB interface. Are there any examples I can look at or anyone have any ideas where to begin and proceed? Only the basic learned.can use MAX to see it is connected,the instrument I/O and instrument driver but, to connect it and write the code is a bit of a problem It would be Very Much Appreciated!! crossrulz Posted November 8, 2008 Report Share Posted November 8, 2008 You can download drivers from the NI website. Try this link for your HP8110. If you don't like these, then you need to lookup the SCPI commands and create VIs that will build up the commands and send them over the GPIB bus. Quote Link to comment
