  1. Yep - I didn't know about it.
  2. A functional global *is* a subVI with an unitialised shift register that stores data. You can do more with it than just that (hence the "functional" part of its' title), but all functional globals have the unitialized shift register as their basis.
  3. I agree, but I think he's made his intentions more clear now. I do too - Mark's a great guy, and really trying to help someone is what I've come to expect from him - and is the status quo of most LAVA members - this is a great place to be * not sure why "beer" is crossed out there - amd tempted to use my moderator powers to rectify that error...
  4. No need to feel bad at all - we all know your needs now, and I'm sure someone will try to help you the best they can. As I said earlier, I can do it for $US125/hr, so if you get in a pinch let me know.
  5. Everyone: IMHO this member is looking for a contractor to do the work for him and is willing to pay for it (which I'm totally fine with). With that in mind, I suggest we all either work for the $ offline or leave him alone - please stop trying to harass him into doing it himself.
  6. If only I'd have known about the new zazzle offerings for April Fool's Day:
  7. One of my alterego's, errrr, colleagues' Family Guy desk calendar has today's quote as: Ok, so on further reflection (and examination of our zazzle account balance), we've decided that it might be a good idea to have our logo in an embroidery format, so the conversion is taking place. The hat will be available in our online store in a few days (as well as maybe another couple of items) - I'll let you all know when they're live.
  8. I'd like to brush my teeth with LabVIEW sometimes...
  9. That should be pretty straight-forward - please upload the code you've written so we can help.
  10. I am, indeed, much familiar with LabVIEW. So - how long do you think it would take to complete? How much is it worth to you?
  11. Here's the thing: we'd need to convert the logo to an embroidery pattern, which will cost ~$US30. We can do that, but I'd rather not if we're only going to make one sale here. I've just created a nice printed cap - will that do?
  12. Great - in that case: I charge $US125/hr.
  13. Is the project homework for school?
  14. What about the OpenG VIs didn't work for you? I've used them a lot and never had any issues...
  15. Damn right!
  16. There aren't any hats available in the LAVAStore at the moment: http://www.zazzle.com/lavastore ...but I'm sure I could put one up for sale if you're really interested - let me know.
  17. You started by posting your data with no code - that suggests to me that you hadn't tried writting any code and wanted us to do it for you. Now you've posted your code I'm much happier.
  18. You've already been told that this isn't a forum where someone will do your homework for you. We'll help you if you show some effort, so upload the *code* that you've tried and we'll help you debug it, but we won't write it for you.
  19. I'm not sure that's a bug. In fact, I know of a lot of sites where you can't download *any* files unless you're logged on...
  20. I second Ben's post - I've used the ethernet-serial and ethernet-GPIB modules from NI before and they're great - easy to use and rock solid.
  21. I'm with Aristos - kudos for you!
  22. Maybe the DOS attacks have overheated the servers which is what is *causing* global warming, errr, climate change!
  23. Not a comment, but a picture:
  24. See?!?! The internet is good for *everything*! ...or can you? Ok, now we're having fun! Oh dear - I just google image'd "cat guacamole" and this was one of the photos it returned: It couldn't be, could it?!?
