Sorry, I can't embedd youtube: [/url] -
Ok  In the future I will show on this setting (so either dynamic or reentrant). But I don't understant why it work in LV 8.6. I mean I use this library in many of my current projects. Anyways, thank you for your answers. Hm... Very strange... I think this property will not be saved with VI. Can anybody confirm this?
-
Wow, it in really solved my problems and I thank you very much. Would anybody explain me why I should share clones? Why LV doesn't lock this setting in a VI even if this setting creates such errors? Eugen Graf

Hello. I can't resolve errors in this class-library. Would anybody explain me what to do to avoid errors? I thank you, Eugen Please open with LV 8.5 I want to add: this is my library, which I use in my projects. And now I want to offer this for free download. It work in my LV8.6 and in all of my projects, but if I publish it in a extern directory (and saved for 8.5) LV says there are errors: owning library has locked VIs. Is there a difference between LV8.5 and LV8.6 in using classes or is there a a problem with paths?

Thank you Ton. How can I prevent the R/W Monitor from starting up? Is there any setting in the SCC Configuration? The Start Up Directory is doesn't include the R/W Monitor. Or I should disable them from the Service List? I can't find this service in the list. The problem is, I want to work with my projects offline of the server too (at home or anywhere else).

Hello LAVAs! I have a little problem with PushOK. If I open a project, which is under SCC, so all files loaded to the memory of LV get the Read Only Property. So if I make some changes and want to save a VI, I can't. I have first to Check Out the file, which I want to change, than this file gets R/W. How can I disable this feature? I want the PushOK doesn't lock files, or alternatively if I load a file to the memory of LV, than it will automaticaly checked out from the repository. The second way is not good because I will not be able to work offline of the SVN server... Any suggestions? Thank you, Eugen Graf

Executable doesn't work
Eugen Graf replied to Eugen Graf's topic in Application Builder, Installers and code distribution
I did all what you suggested and nothing helps. I solved the problem building a Source Distribution (all used VIs in one folder), than I copied the project files there and opened them. I got many conflicts and resolved all of them. Now I can build an executable. Thank you all for support, Eugen -
Hello LAVAs! This is a crosspost to http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?boar...hread.id=370379 After starting my Exe I get some errors, that ressource couldn't be found and Front Panel can't be loaded (see pictures). I use LVOOP in my Project. The DLL which should be called by these VIs is in my data folder in the near of the Exe. Thank you for answers!

Thank you Christian. Now I know what NI touchpanel module is and I am sure now what I will do.
-
Thank you AK2DM for your answer. It seems I don't need the NI Touchpanel Module to track user inputs? But why NI sells them? Did anybody bought this module? Why? My issue is a CarPC project. So I can buy a common Touchscreen and work with them? Regards, Eugen
-
Hello! My question may sound funny for someone, but I can't understand if I can use a touchscreen as a mouse in LabVIEW? The same events, the same driver? If yes, than why I shoulb buy a NI touchpanel module and pay licenses for applications? Thank you

QUOTE (TobyD @ Sep 25 2008, 07:41 PM) I didn't check the performance because it makes no sense here. The serial interface is much more slower than any call of any VI, so I don't know how can I check it.

QUOTE (TobyD @ Sep 25 2008, 07:09 PM) VISA has a very big installation data on the target PC and .NET is already installed on almost all windows PCs.

I found an interesting way to communicate without VISA Library: Here an easy example: http://www.labviewtutorial.eu/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=472 Have anybody used this way (.NET construct) instead of VISA?

Thank you, I don't need it more, I found an another hierarchy for my ranking system. But I found following education levels, if it's interesting to all: Newcomer Accepted to KinderGarden Primary school student Secondary school student High school student Freshman Sophomore Junior Senior Graduate Postdoc (PhD) Adjunct Professor Associate Professor Professor Professor Emeritus Regards, Eugen

QUOTE (TobyD @ Aug 27 2008, 06:44 PM) Thank you, it works now. So you have to run the installation as Administrator by right klicking the installer.exe I did search the VIPM forum for this error, but no topics were found. Regards, Eugen
-
Hello, I want to install VIPM 2.0 Free Edition in Vista, but get "Error 740" during installation. Do anybody know what it means? I installed LVRT 8.2.1 before and I have 8.5.1 and 8.6 on my PC installed. Thank you, Eugen
