Rolf Kalbermatter Posted April 18, 2010 Report Posted April 18, 2010 Hello, Can anyone please guide us how to convert a JPG or BMP image into DICOM using LabVIEW 8.6 IMAQ on Windows XP? Any help or suggestions shall be highly appreciated. Sincerely, Faisal Mirza. Refere to this and this communication on the NI boards to get more information about that. There is currently no standard support for DICOM in LabVIEW. I would suggest next time to first use the powers of Internet such as Google before posting here such a request. That is how I came up with these links and in fact many more that might be maybe interesting. Quote
GregSands Posted April 18, 2010 Report Posted April 18, 2010 Can anyone please guide us how to convert a JPG or BMP image into DICOM using LabVIEW 8.6 IMAQ on Windows XP? Any help or suggestions shall be highly appreciated. I would suggest looking at openDICOM.NET which is an open-source .NET library for reading and writing DICOM images. I've only used it for reading DICOM images (though my code is specific to one set of images, not generalized) but it is straightforward to call the routines from LabVIEW. Quote
crelf Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 Maybe talk to Chris Reed at the Department of Medical Physics at the Royal Perth Hospital (email address in attached article) and/or Medical Connections - they worked on the attached "DICOM For LabVIEW" user solution (which appears in Image Acquisition and Processing with LabVIEW ). Chris Posted September 19, 2013 Report Posted September 19, 2013 My LabVIEW DICOM code is pretty old now. I think you would be better off looking at the NI Biomedical Toolkit which supports reading and writing DICOM files. https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-29033 Chris Quote
