Francois Normandin
The alpha channel is not interpreted correctly when a button is disabled and grayed out. It should not gray out the part of the control image that is transparent. Reported to NI. No CAR yet. Quote Link to comment

vekkuli
Just to add to this, in case someone else also finds this thread while googling about the problem, the "Grayed Out" seemingly applies an alpha mask that is of the same color as the natural background of the widget. Has anyone discovered a way to reimplement the grayed out effect? Quote Link to comment
hooovahh
Has anyone discovered a way to reimplement the grayed out effect? Well, in typical Hooovahh fashion I have a quick and dirty solution. You could set the control to be not visible, and instead make a picture control visible that is in the same location as the control but have a picture constant of the way the control should look when greyed out.
