Ano Ano
Hello, Assuming there is a Wireless NI DAQ and a Mobile Phone with WiFi. Since there is no option to install Labview on the phone, is it possible to create an "application"/build, with Flash or Java, to display the Wireless DAQ data on the Mobile? Thank you in advance Quote Link to comment
BrentonLang
I'm sure there are ways to accomplish what you are asking for all mobile phone device types. However, I know for an iPhone/iPad there is a way. Look into the app "VIremote" or "VIremoteFree". Once you've download the app, goto the following link to download the required VIs to communications to the iPhone. http://throwlab.com/VIremote/index.html It uses WiFi or 3G to transfer data via a specific comms protocol. The good thing with this is that all the hard work is done. Is this what you were after? Quote Link to comment
Saverio
I would suggest looking over this article, available at the NI site: https://decibel.ni.com/content/community/zone/blog/2011/09/06/building-iphone-applications-for-simple-data-monitoring Quote Link to comment
BrentonLang
I would suggest looking over this article, available at the NI site: https://decibel.ni.c...data-monitoring This is a very good article, thanks for the link. As I am an iOS developer, it's very useful. However, for those who aren't an iOS developer, this is a little useless and would be better off using the VIremote app. Thanks again though. Saverio
Well, while the example is based on the iPhone, its premise is based on web services, which is not unique to iOS. You can also see a webcast here: http://zone.ni.com/wv/app/doc/p/id/wv-2922 Edited November 8, 2011 by Saverio Quote Link to comment
Phillip Brooks
If you're not getting to fancy, maybe websockets? http://lavag.org/topic/13777-hello-websocket-and-svg-goodbye-web-ui-builder/ Quote Link to comment

Ano Ano
Thanks for the many replies. So the Flash/Java option that will work on all phones is excluded? Quote Link to comment
