Antoine Chalons
Can we set the data type of a CLFN parameter via scripting? Quote Link to comment
Antoine Chalons
I think I found the solution from this post on NI forum Quote Link to comment
Darin
I have been trying for years to get the following bug(s) fixed to no avail. Beware if you use or plan to use the 'Names' format for the CLFN after you adjust the ParamInfo property. https://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW-2021-Public-Beta/BUG-s-Call-Library-Function-Node-Scripting-Problems/m-p/4147512#M93 Quote Link to comment
Antoine Chalons
Wow, ok, thanks for the warning! Not sure my feather weight will be enough to change anything but I'll be sure to ask NI to fix this bug via my own channels. Quote Link to comment

I've been scripting that node for years but never noticed that bug. I apply a non-default name to all my return value nodes, but the result is all blank. Someone in NI must have made some "optimizations" since return values of C functions can't have names. Quote Link to comment
