Quick DAQmx channel order question

OK , i do not actually have the hardware yet ,i am using simulated so a little tough to test it out , i suppose i could use different ranges on each channel to try to figure it out ..

 

anyway , if I configure a task to use channels , in say this order , 1,7,3,6 ....

will I get the data back in 1,7,3,6 or 1,3,6,7 ?

Will be in the order you specify the channels, so 1,7,3,6

You may not be able to specify the channels in any order you want. If I recall correctly for some DAQs you can only specify them in ascending order. Not sure if this holds true for simulated instruments.

Interesting! I never actually tested my assumption.
