It's actually back to working fine for me.

Which browser do you use?

How about now? Does it still work? There are some settings on the forums that cause this and I'm trying to find the combination that causes it. It always works for me so I can't tell myself.

I've changed another setting on the forums. Can you verify that Get New Post still works as expected?

Works for me on IE and FF.

I downloaded IE 7 and for this started happening again.

I know it worked fine in IE 7 on another computer a couple of days ago, so I'm wondering if this has something specific to do with this computer.

P.S. No, I don't want Firefox. It gives me troubles with some sites I use on a daily basis.

You shouldn't use it on a daily basis

Actually, I installed IE 7 because for some reason 6.1 started crashing when using Gmail (for no apparently good reason).

However, 7 crashed in certain points as well, so I did a system restore to a couple of days of ago and now I'm back to 6.1 and it doesn't crash (and I can jump directly to the new posts :) ).

Also, this might be related to the other thread about replying and going back to page one - clicking Get New Post now goes to the first page of the thread (where its previous wrong behavior was to go to the top of the page with the new posts).Correction - it works perfectly fine in threads where there is a single page.
