If you move the property node up until it aligns with the wire, it should exit to the right..... Shane. Quote Link to comment

Justin Goeres
QUOTE(Eugen Graf @ Aug 29 2007, 04:01 AM) Yes, you are right. But why this auto-wiring problem? Bizarre. Does that happen with all the new Instr property nodes you drop on the block diagram, too, or just that one (and maybe copies of it)? Quote Link to comment
Grampa_of_Oliva_n_Eden
QUOTE(Justin Goeres @ Aug 29 2007, 08:37 AM) Bizarre. Does that happen with all the new Instr property nodes you drop on the block diagram, too, or just that one (and maybe copies of it)? This is slightly OT but is seems related. I noticed durring some execution highlighting that a "To More Specific" node got highlighted with a border that gave me the impression the "To More..." was just a VI with a small icon. I am wondering if the "To More ..." (and many other operations) are really being implemented with X-nodes, a LV version of slight-of-hand. Ben Quote Link to comment
Eugen Graf
If I create a new it doen't more happen. If you open the BD of the VISA Configure Serial Port.vi and copy the Property node inside them to your BD, then you will get this comic behaviour. Eugen Quote Link to comment

Confirmed on my machine (LV85): http://forums.lavag.org/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=6797''>http://forums.lavag.org/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=6797'>http://forums.lavag.org/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=6797 Note that the property node on the BD of VISA Configure Serial Port.vi does not immediately appear to exhibit the behavior, but if you delete the VISA resource name output wire it, in fact, has its terminal coming out the wrong way, too. LAVA 1.0 Content
Confirmed here too, happens on 8.0, 8.20 and 8.5. I checked VISA Serial Break in these versions and saw the 'regular' behavior for the property nodes. LV versions 6.1, 7.0 and 7.1 do not appear to have this 'irregular' behavior. Might this have something to do with la mort du Serpdrv? Quote Link to comment

Hehe... I like Brian's almost paranoid closing to that blog: "I still look back over my shoulder to see if I've missed something, but I'm confident that "serpdrv" won't be coming back." But maybe, just maybe.... Quote Link to comment
