The fabric was molesquine ( mole skin? ) , a lot of car had fabric roof as the very first Traction Citroen (all steel no wood) . But the noise wad defeanning when this cars were at high speed . The idea is very pleasant . And the new technicals fabric are very nice. My father was in the US Army in the early 60s and referred to the canvas topped Citroen as a "flying http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shelter-half' rel='nofollow' target="_blank">shelter half".
