Jon Sjöstedt
Hello all! How can I (programatically) detect if a terminal of a VI is wired (inside that VI with the possibly unwired terminal)? Comparing with a default value is not an acceptable soulution. I started thinking property node but got stuck there. Quote Link to comment
Wire Warrior
Changing the connection type to required on the connector pane isn't enough? Jason Quote Link to comment
Francois Normandin
QUOTE (Jon Sjöstedt @ Jan 21 2009, 08:22 AM) I started thinking property node but got stuck there. You will need scripting. I think I saw it once... never used it though. Quote Link to comment
Yair
This has been asked before. At least around the LV 8.5 timeframe, there was no property which returned if an input was wired or not and I doubt this was changed. There were some kludgy workarounds, but I found the invalid default value to be the simplest and easiest. Quote Link to comment
Jon Sjöstedt
Guess I have to seek other solutions. Default values or adding a boolean.Hmm... Thanks anyway! Quote Link to comment
