  1. This is not for 2009. Probably 2010. You can all sign up to be lead users for this and all the other cool technologies presented at niweek here. I would hurry before NI shuts down that page.
  2. By far, my favorite keynote demo: http://zone.ni.com/wv/app/doc/p/id/wv-1700/upvisited/y
  3. Embed: <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value=" name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
  4. This seems kind of extreme. It's also unnecessary. As long as the data relates to the state machine then it's valid to keep it in a local shift register. It also makes it clear to the observer, what design pattern you're using (don't tell me, you don't care about other people looking at your code right?). Using functional globals and file IO within the same VI to pass data feels like you're using the wrong tool for the job at hand. I don't see the benefits. Let me make this clear. I'm specifically focusing on data that is only valid in the context of the current state machine
  5. Tons more photos posted from Lisa and Christian
  6. It looks like I'm wearing Chris's hair as a mustache.
  7. Those that attended Jeff K's (The father of LabVIEW) Wednsday NIWeek keynote, saw a short video that included a mention of the JKI Right-Click framework. Someone just posted the full-length version of . Here it is: <object width="640" height="505"><param name="movie" value=" name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="505"></embed></object> Yes, that's Norm showing off LVSpeak.
  8. I would recommend in the future to use the "insert code snippet" button in the toolbar. That way everything is preserved as intended.
  9. I think I fixed this now try it again. You can now upload *.swf files
  10. Well, the snippet is still useful as an image even though you don't have LV2009. My gripe is that NI could have added a text heading to indicate what LV version was used to create the snippet.
  11. More images up on the LAVA gallery.
  12. LAVA gives you the ability to levitate.
