You will have 18 months to generate your 1000 buttons with LV Button, by STUDIO BODs http://labview-button.com See ya all at NI Week!
  2. Hello barney, It looks like the machine you are on is not connected to Internet and doesn't have connectivity to the Licensing Server so you cannot automaticaly activate your free license. Please submit your request via email to support@studiobods.com and we will make sure to generate a license file for you. Thank you.
  3. You want to push updates on all machines at the same time? You made a mistake and you want to go back to a previous version? You want to manage all your applications from the same software? What about user access? I just have one answer for you: BLT for LabVIEW! Is it free? Yeah! You download it for free and use it with a project of your own! How it can change your Lab VIEW Experience? • A unified, single reporting and easy system to analyze bugs and users activity • BLT for LabVIEW secures your LabVIEW program with advanced licensing. • Disable some parts of your code with features definition. • Distribute third-party programs and LabVIEW Run-Time Engine with your products and updates. • Automate the build process for your LabVIEW executables. What is the disadvantage of BLT for LabVIEW? You have to download it here because it doesn't magically appear on your desktop. OMG this is awesome!!!! How can I get more information? Simple as: www.BLTForLabVIEW.com

We worked hard to provide a powerful management software that will give you the tools to protect and distribute your LabVIEW programs, for internal or commercial use. As a LabVIEW developer, your feedback is really important to us since our toolkit is mainly designed for your needs. 8. Hi Phillip, You are asking a good question. All the generated code is using type definitions to define the database structure (columns names and types, etc...) If your database structure changes, you just need to regenerate the database driver with this tool, replace your code with the new one, and it will be automatically updated with the new structure. I hope it's clear. Regards,
  9. Hello, DB for LabVIEW is a new Toolkit Compatible with LabVIEW can help you a lot to do what you want. It uses the LV Database and Connectivity Toolkit to connect your existing database, automatically get the database structure and columns data types. Then, with this information, it automatically generates a LabVIEW Polymorphic VI for your database, and this VI will returns your database records in clusters instead of variants. There is also many other advantages using this DB for LabVIEW since it automatically gives you access into one VI, to all queries, all tables, and populates columns names for you. You can try this toolkit by downloading it on http://studiobods.com/en/produits.html It will also be available on the LabVIEW Tools Network in few days.
  10. Have a look to this brand new toolkit for LabVIEW if you are interested to distribute LabVIEW executable with advanced licensing, automatic update capabilities and a lot more amazing features. BLT for LabVIEW (Building, Licensing and Tracking) http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/211731 BLT for LabVIEW is a stand-alone program you can use to distribute LabVIEW applications for commercial use in a few clicks. License your own LabVIEW application in a few clicks - no coding required Automatically (and remotely) update your applications when you make changes in your LabVIEW code Automate the build process for your LabVIEW executables Get user activity reports and error logs so you can remotely debug your program Use BLT scripting to remotely execute actions on a deployed computer, e.g., update LabVIEW RT Engine Disable parts of your code with features definitions
  11. Hello, Does anyone know how to get progress when building an EXE with Application Builder API? I am using the code below to automate my work and it would be nice to see a progress bar like when you build your application from the LV Project. I've found a VI called "Create progressbar events.vi" but I don't know what it does and how to use it. Thanks a lot for help. Matthias.
