Chris
Can anyone tell me please what are the major differences between the SAPHIR SQLiteVIEW package that is on the NI Tools Network - https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-13458 and the SQLite API on the LabVIEW Tools Website - http://www.labview-tools.com/software/sqlite-api/ (apart from one is free and the other isn't). Roderic
Maybe you should ask them directly: info@saphir.fr Quote Link to comment
jcarmody
You need to do all the SQL yourself with SAPHIR's kit. ShaunR's kit has high-level VIs that work like the NI DB kit and low-level stuff for, well, low-level stuff. Quote Link to comment
Chris
Ah yes now that you mention it I see what you mean about doing all the SQL queries yourself with the SQLiteVIEW toolkit. Anyway I'll send a query off to them to find out what are the advantages (if any) of using their package of the SQLite API - maybe it has better performance or something - thanks. Chris There's lots of info on the SQLite API For Labviews performance here. There's also a lot of the development history too since LAVA was its birthplace. Quote Link to comment
