Popular Post MikaelH Posted May 17, 2013 Popular Post Report Posted May 17, 2013 Is it just me that’s annoyed of the QD Insert item on wire function? If you have a diagram like this below, and you like to add a +1 here: The result becomes like this: Enough is enough, I can't live without this feature but I tweaked it so it actually works. Or at least it seem to work, please feel free to test it. Place the attached VI in the Plugin folder: ..resourcedialogQuickDropplugins Update the Insert.vi plugin and add this Sub VI here: Insert_GuessInsertPoint.vi (I've updated this sub VI) Did it work for you? Darin Posted May 17, 2013 Report Posted May 17, 2013 That is a lot easier than my fix for LV9 which predates the InsertPoint property as well as PaletteString. LV10 was greatly simplified with the PaletteString addition, but the rewiring was still interesting. Now it looks like Darren got the method changed to his liking, but he did not get around to using it. Fortunately for the rest of us, the former is much harder than the latter. Quote
MikaelH Posted May 20, 2013 Author Report Posted May 20, 2013 Guys, I did find a bug in the Sub VI, that has been fixed now. The "BDwin.Origin" position had to be inverted. Quote
Darren Posted June 17, 2013 Report Posted June 17, 2013 I did get a chance to fix this issue for Quick Drop Ctrl-I in LabVIEW 2013. The issue has not yet been addressed for Ctrl-Shift-I. Quote
