Aristos Queue
What would it take for LAVA to have a glyph of its own when it is displayed in my browser's list of shortcuts? Some websites have them, some don't, and I don't know what makes the difference. Quote Link to comment
James N
Mine has it.. I don't think I did anything special. Just drag the icon in the web address to the shortcut bar. -James Quote Link to comment
Tomi Maila
I think this is a Firefox bug where the browser has at some point failed to load the icon from LAVA and happens to use that particular moment to determine the icon for LAVA bookmark. For some reason Firefox doens't seem to update the icons when they change. I've seen similar issues with my Firefox. JiMM
AQ, Thanks for the great idea. I didn't know you could drag them into the toolbar. Mine didn't have the icon either until I used the link. When the page re-loaded I got the icon. Quote Link to comment

Aristos Queue
AH. By *dragging* from the tab to the shortcut bar, I now have the icon. Just creating a new shortcut and typing in the address didn't do it. I wonder why the other links successfully got icons? Who knows. Quote Link to comment
Michael Aivaliotis
Actually, the benefit of an icon is that you don't need the text anymore. This allows for more "buttons" to fit on the bar. To remove the text just right-click on the icon and select "properties", then delete the text for the Name field (it can be blank). Also, you guys DO know that you can create folders in that bar too right? Quote Link to comment
hooovahh
Yeah for some reason I don't think that Firefox caches the icon for bookmarks right away. At first none of my bookmarks have icons, but then slowly they start to appear. Quote Link to comment
