  1. Start thinking in those terms. The Model IS the state. The Model never requests anything from the UI (View Controller). Nor is state “copied†into it. The Controller commands the Model and the Model updates the View with a copy of any state info the View requests.

  2. I converted C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\MDF (and other large folders that don't need to be on an SSD) into a symbolic link that points to a folder on a HDD. That way, the files don't take up space on my SSD, but programs can still find the files if necessary. No configuration required. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-au/library/cc753194.aspx

  4. I've had a few evenings to work on another XNode, this time to unbundle an array of elements from a Cluster Array (as per this Idea). As much as possible, I've tried to mimic the functionality of Unbundle Cluster by Name. There were a few tricky things to get this to work, and I'd be interested if I missed an easy way to achieve any of them: traversing a cluster hierarchy to build the pop-up menu not permitting the XNode to be shrunk past any connected wires correctly wiring outputs again if the XNode is extended upwards Comments welcome!
