  1. I think this cartoon sums up how I feel (and possibly PaulG also)... http://www.theweek.com/cartoons/index/104112/Truth_and_the_global_warming_debate

  2. I wrote this little utility that presents a list of all running VIs in all contexts (except NI.* and JKI.*). Clicking on one in the list will give you the option to abort it (it's useful if your VI is stuck). Someone released one on the other forum but the diagram was locked and I was curious... I put it in my LabVIEW 8.6\project folder. Perhaps it'll be helpful to you. *WARNING* Being that I put this in my project folder, I set the top-level VI to run when opened. Take appropriate measures if you don't want this behavior. It also closes its Front Panel when it's done. Jim *EDIT* the latest file submission is in the Code Repository. Don't download this file any more (unless you like looking at obsolete files ). Abort.llb

  3. I didn't save it, but it's pretty simple: Get subset of data starting with many zeros (it is black line) - I had to remove one or two starting zeros to get straight image. Now for 1024 times (32*32) scan for 3 integers and join them with "RGB to Color.vi". You'll get 1024 long U32 array. Reshape it to 32x32 and draw as unflatten pixmap. But this image doesn't look like icon - it hasn't a border. I think that icon is coded within NI.Lib.Icon tag - there is no NI_IconEditor tag in classes I made in 8.2

  4. Here's a method to open the actual control: I haven't checked if you can edit the icon with this ref. Ton

  6. Can't say I have done the research. Few have, unfortunately. And the only way to get the data to do so is if you are part of the GG/"CC" Elect. That fact alone should tell you that the mantra from the GG/"CC" chicken littles is coming from a religious cult, not from scientists. You don't need to be a scientist to figure that out.
