I've decided to try a new improvement on the LAVA reputation system. You can still give positive reputation points to individual posts. This has not changed, however now It is called a "Like" and your name shows below the post to indicate you like it. I think this is a better way to show support and encouragement to a user's post and increases networking between community members. I "like" it!

Thanks everyone for the replies. It is working now. I am kind of frustrated because I don't know what the problem was. I rebuilt the VI from scratch and tested it in steps. I completed that and it still worked. I then cut and pasted the block diagram from the old VI into a new one and that worked as well. Unfortunately I saved the old VI and no longer have a broken one to investigate. This means I will be left with the icky feeling of never knowing what the problem was.

The LAVA forums have just been updated to the latest version which includes several cool new features. Let us know what you think. During the upgrade, some avatars got replaced with profile pictures. You now only have one image for yourself which is used in your profile and as an avatar. If you are looking for your old avatar, see the attached zip file which contains all the custom LAVA avatars. You can find your old one in there. avatars.zip

We use CSV files a ton (too much) here too, but be warned: CSVs don't like Europe (or Europe doesn't like CSVs) - any country that uses commas as a decimal separator can't use commas as a column separator. After being bitten by this years ago all my text logging code allows for a re-configurable separator and file extension. Jaegen

The cool thing is the settings persist from full site to the mobile version (I can't see where to change then on mobile version) - now I have mobile 'portal' - love it.

A few people approached me at NIWeek asking for a receipt for the BBQ to submit for reimbursement. I don't remember who all of you are, so if you're one of those people (or someone else who didn't think of it until now) please feel free to use this completely authentic looking one.
