QUOTE(lraynal @ Nov 26 2007, 11:42 PM) It's big, and there's even stuff missing from it QUOTE(lraynal @ Nov 26 2007, 11:42 PM) It's a code I "just" have to debugg, and that's not really pretty and easy to do ! We've all been in that horrible situation QUOTE(lraynal @ Nov 26 2007, 11:42 PM) Anyway, I don't think it's a problem like the one you are talking about. You're absolutely right - now that I see your code, your problem isn't what I was talking about - sorry for the confusion. What is the value of "ObjHandle In" at "ncAction.vi"? Are you sure that it's valid? Are you sure that the BITE element of "Identificateurs" that you seem to manually build in "Configurer CAN1.vi" is right? QUOTE(lraynal @ Nov 26 2007, 11:42 PM) I'm glad to ear that ! Anything to help you !!!!

QUOTE(lraynal @ Nov 26 2007, 06:21 AM) G'Day Laurent! Can you post the code that you're using (or a cut-down example) that demonstrates the issue? I'm not sure, but I think you might be trying to read something outside of the data portion of the message frame: Have a look at this wikipedia page - which part of the message frame are you trying to read? Is it within the data frame? The reason I ask is that you mention two base frames and two extended frames, and that suggests that the extra frame you're looking for isn't one of those - or am I getting the question wrong? PS: your post has motivated me to write an article on industrial automobile networks for my blog.

QUOTE(Justin Goeres @ Nov 16 2007, 06:31 AM) ...and this only covers the creative work when done in the employ of said company, so if you create something on your own time, then it's yours, as long as your not using the IP that belongs to the company (and that's often the sticking point). That said, if you use the company's resources (PC, permises, LabVIEW licenses, etc) then you need to make sure that your employment contract says that its OK.

QUOTE(Eugen Graf @ Nov 14 2007, 07:19 PM) Great question! The time in the LAVAcr queue varies from submission to submission and the current workload of the LAVA Certified Team. As you know, just like the rest of LAVA, the LAVA Certified Team is staffed soley by volunteers, and we try to keep the queue flowing the best we can, but sometimes things slip through the cracks. We try to get submissions through within a few business days when posiible (I think our record is around 20 miuntes ), or PM submitters if we're running a little behind. That said, the LAVA queue has been swamped in the last few weeks (which is freakin' awesome!) and we'll get to yours as soon as we possibly can

QUOTE(Michael_Aivaliotis @ Nov 13 2007, 05:37 PM) I love splunking for this sort of stuff - there's heaps to see in our local area. If you're in the USA and you've got Google Earth, you can turn on the "community" and do a search for "missile" - you'll get a bunch of decomissioned SAM sites that probably aren't very far away (there's at least 4 within a 25 mile radius of our house - one of them had old barracks that were turned into a school - go figure...) Maybe it should be turned into http://www.missilebases.com/new/index.html' target="_blank">one of these?

Sorry to hear of your accident The issue isn't Microsoft, it's your keyboard - most keyboards have Alt and Ctrl keys on the bottom right and Del in the top right - easy to reach all of them simultaneously with one hand.

QUOTE(neB @ Nov 10 2007, 01:01 AM) no No NO! If you do, you will be soundly spanked! (unless you like that sort of thing, and then you will be tied to a chair while forced to watch someone else be spanked (unless you like that sort of thing, and then...)) Ben: can you please upload the VIs you used to do the benchmarking ro keep all of the thread items together? -
