  1. Works for me! What's the problem that you're seeing? What type of array constant? String, I32, DBL... Can you post a screenshot of the problem?
  2. It's a good read - worthy enough to be published!
  3. Sure do
  4. Ok yen - now you're freakin' me out!
  5. Indeed it does Ben - thanks!
  6. I thought it was 97.7%... So alfa - where is your book sold? Is it on Amazon.com?
  7. Absolutely! I didn't mean to demean the repo-browser Another really neat thing is that when you checkout (the SVN version of checkout, not the VSS version) into a folder from a repository, and then come back later, it'll remember which repository to connect to
  8. No worries - SVN is really powerful, and has some neat features - have a wander through the right-click context menu. One of the most important things you can access is the Repo-browser (repository browser), where you can have a good look through your repository(ies).

I wasn't trying to put you down - I apologise if you took it that way. That said, I don't agree that performance necessarily rules - whilst that is usually true, I look at it from the angle that the listener's experience rules. As an aside, I also don't think the difference between live performance and recording has much to do with the original arguement either.
  11. Are you sure this only happens with Tortoise installed? The builder is failing on a file that's your vi.lib - you shouldn't have that area under SVN control (think of them as system files that LabVIEW needs to operate - they're really primatives and subVIs that you find (mostly) on your functions palette). Have a look at the file that it's failing on: is that file r/w? Can you post your project and source code so we can have a look at what might be wrong? If not, can you create a small example that demonstrates the error and post that?

We must agree to disagree. Personally, I don't limit my musical experience to sounds made only by traditional "instruments" - I hear music everywhere.
  13. Thanks yen - that's brilliant! I'm thinking of changing my signature! Awww - now you're just embarassing me!

Are you guys kidding? This musician was as impressed by this as he was when he first saw a synth (no, not the keyboard-based type) and that grew into something revolutionary. Just because it doesn't have the same interface as instruments you're used to playing, that doesn't make it any less practical. That's like someone who has only been exposed to DOS putting crap on a UI-based OS simply becasue it's different.

The only problem with those places is that, as an adult, I'm expected to let the kids have a go You'd need to wait a long time in line if you were behind me... We've got a vision lab full of cameras, lenses, lighting, etc - I'm sure you could put something together...
