  1. Well I don't plan to blog on LAVA, however, since the LAVAG twitter account mentioned twice this option. (1 and 2 ) I was wondering If I had missed something. On the old blog I had some posts, but even the archives can't get them back. Ton
  2. I don't think you can hide a string constant, it might be the hidden label of a string constant. What you could do is use the Clean up feature (ctrl-U) of LV2009 to get everything in a visible spot. Ton
  3. On the Lava twitter account there was twice mentioned that you can post blog posts, however I cannot find the place where I can Add a blog post. If someone can point me, I could write a how-to or video. Ton
  4. Yes flatten to string adds some bytes, (number of elements for instance and size of the total cluster, however you can turn the latter of). You might be looking for the Typecast function. However make sure you look at the section 'How LabVIEW stores data in memory' in the LabVIEW fundamentals help. Ton
  5. Here's how the User DIV is formed using Opera's page-investigator: <img src="http://i.imgur.com/mXB45.png" alt="" title="Hosted by imgur.com" /> Ton
  6. O dear LV2010 why do you crash?

  7. Michael, I'm using Opera (have looked at the site in Firefox and IE as well), and I have tweaked to use Opera at work with a strict (IE-only) proxy, so I can't use everything (like uploading pictures). Ton
  8. Is it really meant to look like this <a href="http://imgur.com/fRVB5" title="Hosted by imgur.com">http://imgur.com/fRVB5</a>? Ton
  9. Yes, I noticed the latter just yesterday. However it's not exactly compatible with my (more low-level) approach. Ton
  10. Currently I'm struggeling with an OpenSource implementation of AES (Rijndael), especially running the supplied test-vectors. Ton
  11. Brian, could you specify how you tweaked the firewall. I don't know where the OpenG packages are hosted (and I don't think IT is willing to open the firewall for sourceforge.net), so if you have any info on that please add. Ton
  12. Most likely you use the wrong command, have a look at the 'String to [u8]' function, your function checks the embedded length (like a c-string pascal-string), but your string probably misses that info. Ton
  13. Yes, I can cypher using AES (rijndael) in #labview. Soon on @bitbucket and @lavag Let's see if I can decypher

  14. The main reason is compatibility with older versions, since NI has openend the 'upgrade' functionalities they use internally (open up an old 6.x file VI and you'll see what I mean). So without breaking all the software allready utilizin OpenG we cannot move the files (we could deprecate the old locations though). And I have another perspective than NI, I've always assumed that everything inside vi.lib should be available on any LabVIEW install. This assumption alwasy told me to post add-ons into user.lib or instr.lib. So I'm in favour of the user.lib location. Ton
  15. In the 4.0 release I miss the Rectangle package, is this by design? Ton
  16. I agree that this bug hasn't been fixed. However I cannot put my finger on the actual bug. Changing the number of input columns is of influence of the bug. Ton
  17. Not sure if we need a new one. But: LAVA, to whip LabVIEW
  18. Based on the title, is this meant to be MarkDown compatible? That would be very nice! Ton

  21. Connecting #mantisbt with #rhodecode (hg-private hosting)? Look: how I did this http://cot.ag/qR56b0

  22. Working with #Microsoft LiveWriter and #Google blogger. Integration looks good!

  23. Ja hoor, VCA is binnen.
