Just wanted to share my happy.  I've got my NIWeek trip all planned out for 2013. Now all I need is my LAVAG BBQ ticket and my plans will be complete!

Just a note for those booking a hotel thru the NIWeek portal.  There are two pages of hotels.  Last I looked, the second page only has two hotels, but those may be the ones you prefer.

The app is in the iPhone app store.  NIWeek 2013.  It has times for everything, but you have to log in to schedule anything.  I have been unsuccessful so far.  It sent me a password, but it doesn't seem to work.

The web interface seems to be working fine now.  And the app works too.  You must use the forgot password tool to get an initial password, apparently, to get the app to work.

I was able to book all my sessions.  Not too bad this year.  Got all my #1 choices and only had to skip a few #2s due to conflicts.

Ah, I misinterpreted the email.  The "/" character separates the user name and password rather than providing some extra secure password.  Doh!

in my case, the user name was useless.  I had to use my email address and the temp password after the "/".

The schedule is 'official' now.  And they have moved a few sessions around since I first set mine up.  But, I was able to fill all my slots with something and managed to fit in most of what I wanted to see.  Unlike past years where all the best sessions were scheduled at the same time!

It sent me a password, but it doesn't seem to work.

 

In my case, the password they sent me had a lowercase "L" that looked like an uppercase "I". Once I figured that out, it worked for me.

Well it looks like I am not going to make it to NI Week 2013 after all. But on the upside I do get to spend the week in Ireland the week prior.  That is a trip I am looking forward to taking. :beer_mug: :beer_mug:

Has anyone figured out how to export the agenda to a calendar file?  Either I'm missing something or they've removed the best feature.  I want to get it into my work calendar so it shows up on my phone without using the app.

It looks like (pending any major issues) that I will be going to NI Week for the first time.  Not fully sure what to expect but I'm excited and can't wait to meet more LabVIEW nerds, and see what NI has to offer.  

 

I know there are a few here that owe me a beer, and a few that I owe to, so I hope we can square away some of that debt.
