Popular Post Darren Posted March 12, 2020 Popular Post Report Posted March 12, 2020 I found this tonight while working on a project: https://remixicon.com/ Really good icon library with modern-looking icons where you can customize the color and size of the icons, then download them as PNG files. I then import them into a LabVIEW pict ring and it's off to the races. 5 Quote
hooovahh Posted March 13, 2020 Report Posted March 13, 2020 My go to site for this kind of thing was Flaticon but man this place is even better. Any idea what the licensing restrictions are? I couldn't find anything about that other than it is open source with no specifics. Quote

No idea, I just saw "All of the icons are free for both personal and commercial use" on the main page, with no mention of including license info. Quote
gregoryj Posted March 13, 2020 Report Posted March 13, 2020 That looks like a really nice resource! I usually use Google's Material icons: https://material.io/resources/icons/?style=baseline They are open source under the Apache 2.0 license. But, there are only 2 colors, black or white. Quote
mcduff Posted March 13, 2020 Report Posted March 13, 2020 Try this link for Material Design https://materialdesignicons.com/ You can do an advanced export where you can change the color. Quote
drjdpowell Posted March 13, 2020 Report Posted March 13, 2020 I also use materialdesignicons, with a standard of either 54% opaque black, or 100% white, which is the google material design recommended values. The semi-transparant black looks grey, but blends slightly with any background colour, which looks nice. Sometimes I use blue to highlight a key control. Quote
